Knowledge translation and communication
An on-going translation of knowledge created during the implementation of the project encourages continuous improvement based on the results and lessons learned in the development of PHC policies. Activities result in increased access to information, evidence and lessons learned in PHC development for participants, key stakeholders and the general public.
Regional conferences and workshops
Regional conferences will be held annually for stakeholders from both countries to exchange their experiences, share information, monitor the progress and adjust activities based on the best practices and lessons learned. In addition to regional conferences the Project will facilitate participation of key partners from both countries in international events. CSIH/QU will identify relevant conferences and workshops in which project participants could take part to share their experiences and results and learn from others.

Countries in the Balkan region have recognized the PHC as the basis of their healthcare systems. Organization, provision and the delivery of health care services vary across countries but the principles are common and the policies guiding their development are similar. The 2nd Regional Conference will provide an opportunity for the participants to take a strategic view of the potential issues facing PHC within their health care systems and to begin critically to assess challenges, to share different or alternative strategies and the lessons learned from each others’ experiences and to strengthen the relationship between factions facing common challenges.

Regional Conference "Human Resources for Effective PHC Service Delivery"

The purpose of this Regional Conference is to share experiences and examine the relationships between the planning, management and use of the health workforce and the delivery of PHC services.
Countries in the region have taken different routes to the organization and delivery of primary health care services. The model chosen have an impact on the type of providers in the system. Similarly, the type of providers and the scopes of practice can define the nature of the services provided. The Conference will provide an opportunity to critically examine some of the key PHC issues in the region. Speakers from Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, United Kingdom, Canada, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will offer their perspectives on relevant HR issues.

Operational research on key PHC and HHR issues
The CSIH/QU Team members will support local partners in conducting operational research (studies) on key PHC and HHR issues, which will then be used to inform the various project activities.
Electronic Newsletter
Project electronic newsletter is issued on a quarterly basis to disseminate information and project results among stakeholders.
